Today's snow makes me remember one time back when I was a kid. My aunt, uncle and cousins lived down in Georgia. A storm blew through and dropped 4 inches of snow on their town which caused school to be canceled. It was a coastal storm which quickly moved up the shore and slammed us with 6+ inches of snow. I remember thinking how lucky my cousins were because I had school that day.
Flash forward to todayĆ¢€¦ School is canceled. Why? No idea. I guess 1-3 inches of snow mixed with sleet is now an insurmountable obstacle comparable to summiting Everest. I only hope I make it home alive this afternoon.
